We have fixed the timings for AbdulBasit Mujawwad to remove some of the silence and removed the mistakenly placed Husary files (surah 6,16, and part of Baqara)

Thanks to the hard work of our brother in Alexandria, Egypt, we have finished publishing Husary Mujawwad
Previously we had 016, 006, and 002 ayat 144 and on missing.
Now the set is complete. You can download Husary Mujawwad in TAR format (its too large for ZIP). TAR can be extracted on Windows using most common tools such as Winzip, Winrar, etc.
We have deleted some files from the other set (Abdul Basit Mujawwad) and we will republish shortly after fixing the timings.
Don't forget to link to VerseByVerseQuran if you are using our MP3s. That is part of our license.

Joomla engine has been upgraded from 1.0.x to 1.5.x
The interface is much more clean and I really like it. I suggest everyone running Joomla to upgrade now. |

one problem that we are aware of is Surah Yusuf (12) verse 77 has some static.
We also had another problem reported - long silences at the beginning of many verses. In some cases, this silence lasts for around 10 seconds (like in aya 5:10) which is pretty annoying. - we are looking into it and fixing it inshallah
We are not able to find a replacement for it. Please email us if you have a good quality murattal abdulbasit recitation without this error.
